Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a Procurement Coordinator. This role involves monitoring purchase orders, providing procurement data analysis, and managing vendor interactions. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and proficiency in MS Excel. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic team and support policy changes in procurement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Self-starter and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track the lifecycle of Purchase Orders and invoices.
  • Provide analysis of Procurement data on a monthly basis.
  • Work with Finance on aging invoices or blocked payments.
  • Perform monthly audits adhering to policies.
  • Provide first-line support on PO and invoice-related inquiries.
  • Manage interactions with vendors for payment reconciliations.
  • Support the Procurement team on change projects.

Job Duties
  • Monitor and track the lifecycle of Purchase Orders and invoices to ensure timely payments
  • Provide analysis of Procurement data (e.g. purchase order spend, invoice, business expenses) on monthly basis.
  • Work closely with Finance to proactively address aging invoices or blocked payments
  • Perform monthly audit (purchase requisition, vendor setup, invoice) adhering to existing Global and Local policies and procedures and provide accurate and timely updates to relevant stakeholder
  • Provide first-line support to internal users on PO and invoice-related enquiries.
  • Independently manage interactions with vendors/ or third-party service providers for payment reconciliations.
  • Support the Procurement team on change projects on operationalization of policy changes
Job Requirements
  • Min 1 year of relevant experience in procurement/ accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
