Qualifications

• 2-5 years related working experience in machine manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Skills

Ability to read mechanical drawings

Experience in procurement of metal fabrication parts

Familiarity with ERP system

Proficiency in MS Office applications

PROCUREMENT ENGINEER / SENIOR (Buyer/ Purchaser/Purchasing Executive/Technical)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in manufacturing Semiconductor machines

Responsibilities:

• Develop new suppliers of fabrication and structure for semiconductor or automation equipment. (Example, precision machining parts, enclosure, sheet-metal, structure)
• Assess existing suppliers’ performance, capacity and capability and map out a re-alignment strategy to meet current and future growth requirement.
• Develop cost reduction programs of existing and new suppliers on a periodic basis.
• Share experience and expertise to build up the strength and competency of colleagues

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in an engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical or mechatronics.
• 2-5 years related working experience, preferably in machine manufacturing environment
• Able to read mechanical drawings
• Experience in procurement of metal fabrication parts
• Some exposure in ERP system and MS office applications.
