Reporting to the Regional Procurement Director, you will become part of our strong team. The position is based in Singapore.

ASSORTMENT SPECIALIST WITH A FOCUS ON MAPPING NEEDS AND MAINTAINING A COMPETITIVE TECHNICAL ASSORTMENT

You will be responsible for mapping out assortment needs and ensuring we maintain a competitive, data-driven range of technical items that supports our global procurement operations. A core part of the role is defining and continuously updating our assortment—particularly within the long tail—based on market insights, supplier input, and operational demand.

Your key responsibility is to secure that the right SKUs are available and accurately represented in our systems. You will ensure prices, product data, and classifications are always up to date. This includes creating and maintaining item records with precise descriptions, naming conventions, and categories, while keeping our product databases clean, standardized, and reliable. Strong excel skills will be essential as you analyze data, structure large item lists, and support decision-making across the organization.

MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
  • Map out assortment needs and define which IMPA codes and technical items should be available in our system, collecting- and ensuring prices and product details are always kept up to date.
  • Accurately assign, validate, and update IMPA codes for products in the catalogue.
  • Identify and resolve missing, outdated, or incorrect IMPA codes, working closely with suppliers and the procurement team to secure accurate classification.
  • Perform regular audits of product and pricing data to ensure consistency, correctness, and alignment with market needs.
  • Flag, investigate, and correct discrepancies in product information, categorization, descriptions, and naming conventions.
  • Use advanced excel skills to analyze large datasets, structure and clean item lists, track discrepancies, and support assortment and procurement decision-making.
  • Liaise with procurement teams, suppliers, and internal departments to gather complete, accurate, and standardized product information.
  • Communicate updates, improvements, or changes in product and assortment data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements that enhance data quality, assortment structure, and overall master data governance.
