A leading chemical manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Process Technician to operate equipment in production systems, prepare solutions, and assist in maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology. Strong communication skills are necessary, and candidates with no prior experience will be considered. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts at Jurong Island.

Jobscope:

• Operates equipment in the production systems, prepares solutions, monitors certain measuring instruments and equipment, and assists in unloading and loading operations.
• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair work in the production systems.
• Participates and responds to the emergency response team
• Assist maintenance team in plant repair

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology
• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift
• Candidates with no prior experience will be considered
