Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical firm in Singapore is seeking a Process & Compliance Engineer for a 1-year contract. This role involves providing engineering expertise for process design and compliance in a pilot plant environment. Candidates should hold a degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in documentation and the ability to work collaboratively with teams are essential. Immediate starters are preferred.

Jobscope:

  • Provide process engineering expertise to advance process design, scale-up, troubleshooting, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize laboratory working directions, ensuring the alignment of chemical processes and plant configurations with scale-up objectives and safety standards.
  • Additionally, support compliance activities within the pilot plant, ensuring adherence to Organization's Global Engineering Standards, Policies, and EHS Standards.
  • Act as a technical expert for Engineering Standards, contributing to safety and compliance improvement projects and audits.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years experience in process engineering, pilot plant operations, or scale-up activities.
  • Knowledge of process design, hazard assessments (e.g., PRA/HAZOP) and EHS standards.
  • Experience in plant modification, equipment commissioning, and process troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in documentation (SOPs/WIs) and technology transfer to production plants.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with engineering standards.
  • Immediate starter is an advantage
