Heartland Rehab is seeking an experienced Principal / Senior Physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation group. This role is suited for a clinician who demonstrates strong clinical leadership, sound clinical reasoning, and a commitment to developing people, systems, and standards of care.

Role Overview

You will manage a complex caseload while playing a key role in mentoring junior clinicians, shaping clinical standards, and contributing to service development across the group. The position offers a balance of hands‑on clinical work, leadership, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions

  • Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs

  • Manage complex or high-value cases and provide clinical oversight when required

  • Mentor and support junior physiotherapists through supervision, case discussions, and in-service training

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices

  • Collaborate closely with doctors and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in line with clinic standards

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant clinical experience

  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

  • Prior experience in mentoring, supervision, or leadership roles is highly advantageous
