Who We Need
The Principal / Senior Clinical Psychologist will assist the Medical Director of Alvernia Psychological Health Centre (APHC), in leading, developing, and overseeing the delivery of quality clinical psychology services in Mount Alvernia Hospital (MAH).
The key responsibilities are:
- Provide psychological assessment, clinical case discussions, formulation, intervention and treatment planning for clients/patients.
- Conduct clinical and neuropsychological assessments; and implement clinical interventions (including individual and group psychotherapy) for both inpatient and outpatients settings.
- Facilitate professional development through in-service training, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives within the organisation and in external settings.
- Develop clinical protocols, outcome measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and plan/implement specialised programmes for APHC.
- Develop and deliver educational talks and workshops on psychological issues to healthcare providers, the general public, or other audiences (e.g. corporate talks).
How to Succeed
- Minimum Master Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognised university.
- Full registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP).
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification relevant clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and in using general IT applications.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team
