Job description

The role of the Principal Consultant at JAC is to provide a vital link between both clients and candidates. The job is demanding and diverse and involves using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract positions from companies and then to source suitable, top quality candidates to put forward to fulfil the client's needs.

As this is a senior role within the company, the incumbent shall come with a solid track record within the Recruitment industry within our business model of Executive Search with industrial vertical specialisation. Candidates should demonstrate a consistent track record of both securing accounts and successful placements.

Responsibilities
  • Establish partnerships with and gain true understanding of client and candidate needs, enabling the consultant to successfully place the right candidate with the right client
  • Work closely with clients to gain understanding of and identify needs for key talent, and support the client in developing proper job descriptions, match candidates to appropriate jobs, and negotiate offer terms and conditions
  • Take a deeper interest with candidates, not just in utilising appropriate resources in identifying candidates for our clients, but above all listen to and gain understanding of what the candidate is really looking for
  • Achieve quarterly billing targets and weekly KPI targets
Required Skills
  • A record of high achievement in a fast paced environment reflecting a goal oriented mindset
  • At least 3 years working experience in a recruitment agency
  • CEI Certification as stipulated by Ministry of Manpower to operate as a certified employment personnel
