Qualifications

  • Must possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent.
  • Certification by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as an L2 teacher is required.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.

Job description

As a Preschool Educator, you will play an essential role in nurturing and educating children aged 18 months to 6 years old. You will deliver a curriculum that focuses on language and literacy, numeracy, aesthetics, creative expression, discovery of the world, and social-emotional development. Additionally, you will ensure a safe and clean environment for our young heroes' growth and development.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement lessons that align with the Starbeam™ Framework
  • Create high-quality learning environments that include age-appropriate learning materials and resources
  • Nurture trusting and respectful relationships with children
  • Customise classroom management strategies to meet the needs of individual children
  • Document and assess children's learning and development to inform future planning and teaching
  • Work collaboratively with families to promote consistency in care and learning between the Centre and home
  • Cultivate and enhance partnerships with families and the wider community
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching)/ Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education or its equivalent
  • Certified by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as an L2 teacher
  • Fluent in English Language (spoken and written)
  • IT savvy
