Job summary

A leading cybersecurity solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant. The successful candidate will provide technical support for cybersecurity products, collaborate with the sales team to develop solutions, and conduct demonstrations for customers. Ideal applicants have a relevant degree and at least 1 year of pre-sales experience, with strong knowledge of cybersecurity and network infrastructures. This role requires excellent communication and customer engagement skills.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in Pre-Sales activities to large enterprises or government sectors.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity industry trends.
  • Ability to design architectures and write proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support on cybersecurity products.

Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide pre-sales technical support on assigned cybersecurity product to customers and partners.
  • Work with Sales team closely to develop and position solutions for go-to-market selling and customer proposals.
  • Understand customer IT/Security infrastructure and business requirements.
  • Perform Strategic Cybersecurity Solution Selling.
  • Perform Cybersecurity Solutions Demonstration.
  • Perform Proof of Concept for proposed cybersecurity solution / Network Performance solution.
  • Work with Solution Vendors on Business Solution Proposal and attend to RFI/RFP design, compliance and clarifications.
  • Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers on the assigned cybersecurity products.
  • Perform in-house lab tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, endpoint/network designs, and endpoint/network deployments using new products and features.
  • Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • Provide enablement training for Partners internal Post Sales engineers on the product/technology knowledge.
  • Conduct routine updates on the new product/technology to the internal sales staff.
  • Maintain good rapport with customers and vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in Pre-Sales activities to large enterprise or government sector or related field. Candidates with several years of experience in delivery and implementation of cyber security technology and solutions and open to embark in presales consultant role are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the cybersecurity industry.
  • Ready to perform demo & presentation on product expertise on key security technologies.
  • Possess good technical knowledge in Internet architecture, network infrastructure, Software Defined Networks, Network Performance tools and solutions, UNIX, Windows, VMware, Security covering Endpoint, Email, Web & Cloud.
  • Able to design an architecture & write proposal.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Eagerness and ability to engage in courteous customer handling and commercial judgment would be preferred
