A leading insurance firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to support policy servicing functions in life business. This role requires delivering high-quality service to customers, managing a team of servicing executives, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have over 6 years in life insurance operations with strong knowledge in policy servicing and premium management. Qualifications

  • Preferably possess relevant insurance certifications.

Job description

This role will be expected to support policy servicing function of life business which the responsibilities include processing customers’ service requests and represent policy servicing and premium management functions as a subject matter expert for product launches and other initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
  • Deliver high quality, accurate and prompt service to customers meeting or exceeding respective service levels and target turnaround time.
  • Ensure that our service delivery processes are compliance with the relevant regulations, internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage, lead, and provide guidance to a team of policy servicing executives and be responsible for the team performance.
  • Review and streamline service processes regularly to improve operations efficiency.
  • Support the business in achieving its financial goals and objectives and participate in cross functional initiatives aligned with the Business Development Plan.
  • Manage customers’ complaints, escalate where necessary and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to achieve fair outcomes according to the complaint resolution process.
  • Investigate on the root cause of system errors and work closely with IT to resolve errors or provide solutions to avoid repeated errors.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for policy servicing and premium management on processes, operational procedures and system requirements for any new product launches/system enhancements.
  • Review and sign off business requirements. Perform user acceptance testing, provide progress update and sign off.
  • Liaison and point of contact for external parties for any operational matters that include (but not limited to) system
Skills/ Requirements
  • Degree holder
  • At least 6 years of life insurance operations with good knowledge in policy servicing and premium management.
  • Preferably possess relevant insurance certifications.
  • Solid life insurance operations knowledge
  • Minimum experience in AS400 system
