Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Plant & Machinery Engineer (Electrical) to oversee the operations of a wood and metal shredder plant. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience. Job description

We are looking for Plant & Machinery Engineer (Electrical) for:

Wood Shredder Plant / Metal Shredder Plant
Responsibilities
  • To ensure the highest possible production and uptime for the wood / metal shredder plant.
  • Responsible for plant production and reliability/performing root cause investigations to increase reliability and general performance of machinery & equipment.
  • Target for incident-free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
  • To attend to all job requisitions, complaints, breakdowns, and as well as monthly preventive maintenance schedules to the relevant department.
  • Liaison with the production team and other stakeholders; manage ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Work and coordinate with purchasers for spare parts purchase, stock, and inventory control.
  • Ensure plant & machinery documentation and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures are constantly updated.
  • Ensure technical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters are in compliance with the HSE regulations.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
  • Required knowledge: hydraulic system, rotating parts, conveyor belts.
  • Required to work 5.5 days
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Positive working attitude.
  • Able to work in dusty environment.
