Job summary

A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a Planning Engineer to prepare and manage schedules for private residential and condominium projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has at least 3 years of relevant local experience. Responsibilities include monitoring daily site work, coordinating with managers and engineers, and participating in various project meetings. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

About the job Planning Engineer (Construction)
  • Preparing and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure
  • Preparing schedule bar chart plan considering all inputs (manpower, equipment and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
  • Developing and update resources (manpower, equipment's and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
  • Inspect and monitor daily the work happening on site
  • Participate all meeting (ie. Schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, constructability review meeting and so on)
  • Record / Document weekly progress meeting held with the client, consultants and sub-contractors
  • Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
  • Developing contract and construction programmes and construction project plans
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years’ of local experience in private residential and condominium projects
  • Well-versed in sequence of works and authority requirement
  • Proficient in planning works and material schedules
