Design, plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons and games activities across variety of sports for students.
Ensure students carry out the physical activities safely with proper form and technique.
Create comprehensive fitness lessons, nutrition, and home workout plan for students.
Provide students with regular feedback and accountability on their progress.
Ensure safety during PE and co-curricular (CCA) sessions.
Work with sports CCA instructors to enable students’ engagement and learning.
Work with stakeholders to support holistic student motor skills development.
Conduct and supervise outdoor education, enrichment, and sports-related co-curricular activities, e.g. local field trips, school camps, overseas trips.
Provide support in various school and community events, e.g., Metta Charity Carnival, Metta Charity Run, National Education Show, sports-related events and competitions etc.
Involved in professional development such as PE-related Communities of Practice (COPs) and Professional Learning Teams (PLTs).
Ensure a safe, clean and constructive learning environment for PE, exercises and games. This includes being involved in managing and maintaining PE equipment and assets.
Oversee and guide interns attached to the school PE department or unit.
Keep up to date with the industry trends and developments, maintaining a high level of personal fitness.
Undertake any other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Head or School Leaders.
Minimum Diploma in Sports and Health / Wellness from a recognised local educational institution, or related disciplines.
At least 1 to 2 years of working experience as a physical trainer in academic institutions or commercial setting.
Novice candidates may be considered based on attitude, energy and general work experience.
Must have a Certified Personal Training certification from an accredited programme.
Must be first aid and AED certified.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
