Responsibilities include supporting workflow improvements and conducting patient interviews. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided. Job description

You will perform blood-taking procedures (venepuncture) to collect blood specimens for laboratory investigations at the inpatient setting (mainly adult & geriatric) in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Integrated Care Hub (ICH).

You will also support sectional initiatives to review and improve work processes to achieve organisational goals, conduct HIV screen interviews for patients, and support the Section Leader in other operational and administrative matters.

Requirements

• Have a keen interest in blood-taking (venepuncture)
• No experience needed as training will be provided
• Able to work independently and can be a team player
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to work 2 rotating-shifts which includes weekends and public holidays. Working hours are as follows:
  • 7am - 4pm
  • 8am - 5pm
  • 3pm - 9.30pm (PM shift)

Locum positions for candidates experienced in phlebotomy (8am - 2pm / 6hrs, 5 days a week Mon-Fri) are available as well.
