Job description
Overview

You will be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care at our outpatient pharmacy. Your duties include counselling and dispensing of medication, teaching and providing information on medication to patients, their caregivers and other healthcare workers as well as assist them in the administration of medication. You will also need to help identify, resolve and prevent medication-related problems and ensure accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical items. In addition, you will be required to participate in corporate quality improvement projects.

Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Board for registration
  • Relevant experience in a hospital setting environment will be advantageous but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided
  • Candidates with experience will be appointed at a senior level
  • Documented proof of :
  • (i) Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity
  • (ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
