About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Pest Control Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will safeguard homes and businesses from pest infestations, ensuring public health and safety. Success in this position requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to use your ‘detective’ skills to identify and solve pest problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
  • Speak with customers and genuinely listen to their concerns.
  • Educate clients on preventive measures and exclusion methods to minimize infestations.
  • Ensure strong customer service with follow-ups as needed to guarantee satisfaction.
Inspection and Problem Solving
  • Conduct extensive inspections to identify pest issues and underlying causes.
  • Use problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective exclusion methods.
  • Provide tailored recommendations for long‑term pest control solutions.
Pest Control Operations
  • Apply pesticides when and where necessary, following strict product label instructions and NEA regulations.
  • Utilize baiting and monitoring systems to track and manage pest activity.
  • Operate and maintain pest control equipment such as sprayers, foggers.
Team Collaboration
  • Work effectively with office personnel and the sales team to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate service reports and documentation to support operational efficiency.
Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with NEA guidelines for pesticide handling and storage.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes through regular training.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Valid NEA Vector Control Technician (VCT) license.
  • Valid Class 3 driving license.
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 20kg, and comfortable working in confined spaces.
Experience
  • Prior experience in pest control or related fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles is advantageous.

Working Hours
  • 5.5 Days work Week
  • Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) Saturday (9am-1pm)
  • Working location : Islandwide
  • Company vehicle and petrol card provided
  • OT will be paid for working past normal hours
