About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and family-oriented Personal Driver to support a private household. This role is central to the family’s daily logistics, primarily ensuring the safe and punctual transport of a young child. You will work closely with a dedicated household team, including another personal driver and a domestic helper. This position offers a stable environment with a focus on long-term safety and trust, with a potential for the role to evolve as the family grows.

Key Responsibilities

• School & Activity Transport: Manage the daily school run for a young child, including punctual morning and afternoon pick-ups, as well as transport to tuition, enrichment classes, or playdates.
• Family Logistics: Provide chauffeuring services for the family, and assist the household helper with grocery runs and other domestic errands.
• Vehicle Stewardship: Take full ownership of the vehicle’s upkeep, including regular car washes, refueling/charging, and coordinating routine maintenance and servicing appointments.
• Operational Support: Act as the back-up driver for the Principal's primary driver during peak periods or when coverage is required.
• Safety & Professionalism: Maintain a clean, smoke-free vehicle environment and ensure the highest standards of road safety and discretion at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record as a Personal or Private Driver. Experience handling Electric Vehicles (EVs), large MPVs (e.g., Toyota Alphard), and luxury continental cars is highly advantageous.
• Driving Excellence: An exemplary driving record with no demerit points. Possession of a Private Hire Driver's Vocational Licence (PDVL) is a significant bonus and preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to facilitate clear communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking family members and household staff.
• Physical Fitness & Safety: Must be physically fit to assist with carrying groceries and luggage. The role requires maintaining high levels of alertness for extended periods and a commitment to safe driving practices.
• Health & Screening: Due to the nature of the role (transporting a minor and managing household security) and to ensure the safety of all passengers, the successful driver may be asked to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and a comprehensive background and reference check.
• Eligibility: This role is based in Singapore; drivers must have the legal right to work in Singapore.

Working Arrangement & Benefits

• Package: Competitive base salary + 13th Month (AWS) and performance-based bonus. Salary will be commensurate with experience and is inclusive of the specified weekend and public holiday support.
• Working Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday, with typical hours aligned to school and family schedules.
• Weekend & PH Support: As the family’s schedule includes weekend activities, the driver is expected to be on duty for one day each weekend and on Public Holidays (excluding Chinese New Year).
• \"Give-and-Take\" Philosophy: In recognition of weekend and public holiday support, the driver may enjoy extended paid rest periods when the family is travelling overseas (subject to household operational needs).
• Vehicle Usage: The driver may drive the vehicle home daily, providing significant convenience and time-savings for the daily commute.
