Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to develop electronic architectures and lead design reviews. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in PCBA design and microcontroller hardware. Familiarity with OrCAD and hardware test tools is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience in addressing EMI/EMC/ESD issues to ensure compliance within regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum college degree of B.S. and 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in designing PCBA containing microprocessors / microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience in resolving EMI/EMC/ESD related issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic architecture from requirement to the PCBA board level.
• Create complete engineering documentation and lead EE design reviews.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Job description

• Develop electronic architecture from requirement to the PCBA board level
• Experience designing PCBA containing microprocessors / microcontrollers including component selection, board bring up and proto board verification and manufacturing NPI
• Experience in working with multidisciplinary engineering team
• Create complete engineering documentation, test protocol, and compliance in a regulatory environment. Lead the EE design reviews

What You Bring:

• Education/Work Experience: Minimum college degree of B.S. and 10+ years of electrical engineering
• Proficient in OrCAD, CAD design tools
• Microcontroller based HW Design experience and knowledge of HW Test tools such as Oscilloscope, multimeter etc
• Hands on experience in resolving EMI/EMC/ESD related issues

Good to have skills:

• Familiarity to life science safety standards, such as IEC61010 and risk management
