Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to manage monthly payroll cycles and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and at least 4 years of full-cycle payroll experience, preferably in the construction sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS software is advantageous. This position offers a competitive salary package up to $5,500 plus performance bonus.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Payroll Executive to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Position: Payroll Executive
  • Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Redhill)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
  • Salary Package: Up to $5,500 + Performance Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer monthly payroll cycles, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Gather and validate attendance, overtime, allowance, deduction, and other payroll-related information from HR and project teams.
  • Ensure payroll is processed within tight timelines and free of discrepancies.
  • Prepare and issue payslips, payroll reports, and related summaries for management review.
  • Handle statutory contributions, tax submissions, and other required payroll filings in line with local employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly, providing clear and timely responses to employee queries.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and efficient handling of payroll matters.
  • Support internal and external audits, annual reconciliations, and compliance checks related to payroll.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in managing full‑cycle payroll, preferably from construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of local employment and payroll regulations, statutory reporting, and compliance procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge with any HRIS or payroll software will be an advantage.
