Job summary

A healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Patient Service Associate to manage patient registrations and inquiries in their Radiology and Health Screening Centre. You will be responsible for front desk operations and ensuring patients receive excellent service and care. The ideal candidate should have a diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with medical personnel in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related clinic assistant or customer service experience, ideally in a medical setting.

About the role

The successful candidate will manage patient registrations, appointments, and inquiries in our Radiology and Health Screening Centre. They will be patients' first point of contact and therefore an essential part of our team. The Patient Service Associate will work closely with medical personnel to ensure patients receive the highest quality care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and uphold a high standard of service excellence to all patients
  • Responsible for front desk and administrative duties, including patient registration, payment collection, appointment scheduling, financial counselling regarding insurance coverage, payment options, crowd control and handling phone inquiries as well as other administrative duties
  • Prepare the centre for daily operations before opening and ensure proper closure at the end of the day
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and professional reception area
  • Ensure effective communication with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the centre
  • Any other duties assigned
About you
  • Diploma in any discipline / GCE 'A' Level / 'O' Level / Higher NITEC
  • Minimum 2 years of related clinic assistant or customer service experience ideally in a medical setting
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and adaptable to change
  • Strong knowledge of office systems such as GSuite and clinical procedures is a plus
