Parts Sales Engineer

Working Location: Jurong East

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm

Salary range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 5,500 monthly, 13th month, SGD 250 transport allowance

Job Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Business Unit to achieve sales growth targets and expand into new markets, ensuring year-on-year market share increase.
  2. Develop strategies to increase spare parts market share and revenue.
  3. Handle opportunities from leads to ensure timely fulfillment and profitability.
  4. Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline plans to management.
  5. Promote Service Sales (Aftermarket products) alongside spare parts sales to distributors.
  6. Work with the sales team to develop strategies targeting new opportunities within existing accounts.
  7. Have in-depth knowledge of diesel industrial engines (small to large capacity) to support distributors with technical advice on spare parts.
  8. Optimize inventory levels (own stock and consignment stock at customer sites) to minimize costs and ensure parts availability.
  9. Maintain accurate records of projects, pricing, sales, and activities.
  10. Create and deliver proposal presentations to sales representatives, customers, and prospects.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement projects across functions.
  12. Perform other parts sales and aftermarket duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
  1. Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in spare parts or the automotive industry.
  2. Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions (10-15%).
  3. Experience with engine manufacturers' spare parts is advantageous.
