Outlet Manager – The Velvet Cut (Premium Steakhouse)

The Velvet Cut is The Malayan Council Group’s newest flame-grilled, dry-aged steakhouse concept, an elevated dining experience built on craftsmanship, hospitality, and consistency. We’re seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to lead our front-of-house team and uphold the standards that define The Velvet Cut experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee and lead daily outlet operations for smooth, efficient service
  • Ensure premium hospitality standards and warm, attentive guest interactions
  • Train, coach, and motivate the service team to deliver consistent excellence
  • Handle staff rostering, performance management, and development
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team on menu knowledge and service readiness
  • Manage reservations, VIPs, guest feedback, and conflict resolution
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory controls
  • Monitor costs, wastage, and operational performance to meet KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, service, and safety regulations
  • Support events, marketing activations, and special service experiences
Who We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in F&B
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Excellent communication and guest engagement abilities
  • Ability to lead calmly and confidently in a high-pressure, premium dining environment
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and proactive
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Comfortable with evening, weekend & public holiday shifts
  • Singaporeans & PRs preferred
