Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $15 per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and hands‑on Camp Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of our outdoor adventure and learning camps. In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring our facilities, equipment, and logistics are well‑prepared, safe, and ready to deliver meaningful experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and arranging camp facilities, activity zones, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with facilitators and staff to meet daily logistical needs.
  • Manage the distribution, collection, and safe storage of camp materials and gear.
  • Support emergency response procedures and uphold safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct checks, cleaning, and maintenance of camp equipment and facilities.
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure spaces are clean, functional, and ready for use.
  • Help prepare sleeping quarters, dining areas, and activity spaces.
  • Liaise with caterers to ensure meals are served on time and meet dietary requirements.
  • Assist with post‑camp breakdown, inventory management, and equipment storage.
  • Carry out general administrative and housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
  • Able to handle camp equipment and materials.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) for effective communication with staff and students.
  • Comfortable working with students aged 10–15; patient, approachable, and safety‑conscious.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a school, camp, or similar operational setting preferred.
  • Strong team player with good organizational and communication skills.
