Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Outbound Logistics Team Leader. The role involves overseeing all outbound logistics operations, supporting sales, and verifying shipping compliance. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably with leadership experience and familiarity with SAP. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is a Manufacturing Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Outbound Logistics (Team Leader) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all outbound logistics operations and provide support to the sales team.
  • Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents to ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • Sort and distribute shipping documents to relevant teams, including finance and sales departments.
  • Maintain accurate data in business systems, including sales orders, invoices, delivery orders, stock movements, etc.
  • Communicate with different external stakeholders such as shipping companies, transport providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor shipments, check error logs, and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in physical stock counts at third-party warehouses and coordinate regular meetings with logistics partners.
  • Review supplier, forwarder, and warehouse invoices before reporting to management.
  • Participate in logistics cost negotiation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Track intercompany shipments, file and archive documents, and assist in month-end closing.
  • Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Min Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience with leadership in logistics function.
  • Good experience in Letter of Credit (LC) will be advantageous.
  • Familiar with SAP system will be advantageous.
