Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to all work instructions associated with the work you are performing.
  • Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties. ( Proper PPE )
  • Perform jobs in priority order unless instructed otherwise.
  • Perform and complete the operation you are performing IAW the required technical data referred to in your job traveler. (operation sheets, written instructions from engineering)
  • Occasionally require to assist engineering with new part development.
  • Provide trainings to others when require/necessary
  • Report nonconformance’s related to parts, paper work, equipment, tooling or materials to the immediate Cell Leader.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area
De-burr
  • Perform a variety of duties to burr and break edges on aircraft engine parts according to instructions contained in operation sheets.
  • Operate burr guns of different configurations or buffing machines to bring about dimensions required on operations sheets. Prepare first piece and submit along with appropriate documentation to In-Process Inspector. Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, verniers, GO-NOGO gage blocks and pins and visual aides.
Education Requirements

GCE ‘O’ level/Secondary School or equivalent

0 - 3 years of similar duties in the aerospace environment

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical document
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills
  • Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, verniers, gauge blocks, radius gauges, gauge pins and visual aids.
  • Basic shop math, read, write, and interpret English, effectively utilize lifting devices, ability to interpret travelers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy
