Operations (Procurement)
Monday to Friday 10AM-7PM, half-day every Saturday, 5.5-day system
4 days off per month, Sunday off
Location in Balestier (near TPY/Novena MRT station)
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Procurement:Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on factors like price, quality, and reliability.
- Negotiation:Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible value for the organization.
- Contract Management:Managing and maintaining records of purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Inventory Management:Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely replenishment of inventory.
- Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Cost Control:Analyzing spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Compliance:Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaboration:Working with other departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure procurement needs are met.
- Negotiation Skills:Strong ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve issues related to procurement, such as delays in delivery or discrepancies in orders.
- Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes:Understanding of procurement principles, best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in Procurement Software:Familiarity with procurement software and tools for managing purchasing activities.
