Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Operations & Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage project progress, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong site coordination skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential. This role offers the opportunity for growth into a managerial position.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Project Management
  • Plan, monitor, and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure project progress and completion within timelines.

  • Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of work.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.

  • Prepare work schedules, manpower allocation, and project status reports for management review.

  • Support the implementation of operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure that all operational activities comply with company policies, procedures, and MOM regulations.

Resource & Cost Management
  • Manage and monitor resource usage, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

  • Assist in reviewing project costs, quotations, and budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Liaise with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and payment coordination.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as a key contact point between clients, consultants, and internal departments.

  • Attend client and coordination meetings to resolve project or operational issues.

  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and ensure timely communication.

Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare operational reports, progress summaries, and project documentation.

  • Monitor safety compliance and ensure adherence to ISO, WSH, and QA/QC standards.

  • Support audits, certifications, and documentation required by authorities or clients.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
