Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor performance indicators such as productivity, quality, and output.
- Implement and improve operational processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulations.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
- Schedule, supervise, and coordinate staff activities.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and skill development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary actions when needed.
3. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure all operations meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and conduct regular safety inspections.
- Investigate incidents or process failures and implement corrective actions.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between employees, management, and other departments.
- Communicate work expectations, project updates, and operational changes.
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights for improving efficiency.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of production, attendance, and operational metrics.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
- Track KPIs and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, supervision, or a related field.
- Experience in the specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, retail) is a plus.
