A logistics and waste management company based in Singapore seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage waste collection processes. Responsibilities
  • Ensure all contractors adhere to stipulated waste‑collection requirements (e.g., PPE, documentation). Follow up with contractors on collection progress as needed.
  • Handle queries and requests from customers regarding waste‑collection requirements.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service staff on issues raised and complaints.
  • Be responsible for authority requirements (e.g., NEA, LTA) related to waste collection.
  • Develop KPIs for contractors and suppliers to evaluate their service to the company.
  • Attend plant‑level coordination meetings (EHS, Operations, Sales, etc.).
  • Back up the logistics executive on transportation scheduling and other administrative issues.
  • Plan for logistics transport capacity requirements (pumps, hoses, trucks, etc.).
  • Follow up on the maintenance program for all logistics equipment (pumps, trucks, tankers, chassis, etc.), coordinating internal teams or outsourcing to competent contractors.
Administrative Function
  • Handle submission for all transportation containment inclusion (new rental ISO tanks, after‑office waste collection, etc.) to authorities.
  • Check and verify charges from suppliers/contractors, follow up on discrepancies, and consolidate monthly expenditure cost data (transportation, labor, cost, etc.).
  • Ensure all vehicle parking certificates are renewed annually and meet LTA requirements.
  • Manage all logistics staff, including conducting interviews, evaluating performance, and coordinating training per requirements.
  • Report monthly progress on cost‑reduction measures, bottlenecks, and solutions to the Logistics Director.
  • Update logistics transport records and monthly logistics transport reports (costing, budget, expenses, etc.).
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
  • Excellent planning and tactical conceptualization abilities for operational problem‑solving.
  • Good knowledge of operations and safety.
  • Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a team‑player mindset.
