Job description

Purpose:

To ensure safe and effective management of the Luge and Skyrides daily operation and ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service to the guests. Operation Host works in rotation and will at anyone point be responsible for the following function.

Description of Job:

1. The Luge Operation Host will be responsible for completing pre-opening checks as per SOP and in a timely manner.

  1. Complete all pre-opening safety checks as per SOP
  2. Clean all public areas meticulously, with rubbish on the floor promptly picked up.
  3. Regularly empty rubbish bins are and to maintain good presentation throughout the site.
  4. Switch on TV displays showcasing safety information and direction and ensure they display to correct content throughout the day.
  5. Ensure all closing tasks are completed in due diligence.

2. The Luge Operation Host will be responsible for ensuring that H&S of guests and staff alike is always maintained.

  1. Ensure guests meet the height requirements to ride the Luge and Skyride.
  2. Provide high quality safety briefing to guests and ensure all critical information are covered (brake, steering, hands on the handlebar including child doubling, feet inside the cart, riding position for young riders)
  3. Carefully manage the bottom conveyors area to minimise the risk of collision
  4. Ensure guests are provided with adequate guidance when boarding and disembarking from the Skyride as per SOP.
  5. Check and scan guest tickets at designated locations (these may change based on crowd)
  6. Strictly adhere to the Code of Conduct for Luge riding and Skyride boarding.
  7. Handle the Luge cart as per SOP to minimise damage to material and equipment

3. The Luge Supervisor Operation will be responsible for delivering high quality interactions with Guests.

  1. Adhere to Skyline Luge Service Standard Charter at all times
  2. Ensure the needs of the guests are given priority over all other activities.
  3. Pro-actively attend to guests at any point of the of their journey in the view to deliver positive interactions through 1on1 attention
  4. Should issue with guest arise, escalate to Team Leaders or Supervisor immediately.
