Job Description

·We are seeking an experienced OpenText Consultant with proven expertise in installing, configuring, and administering OpenText solutions—particularly OpenText Archive Center and OpenText Content Server—and integrating them with SAP S/4HANA.

·The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data archiving and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) using OpenText and SAP ILM frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, performance optimization, and effective data governance across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

·OpenText Administration Install, configure, upgrade, and administer OpenText components such as: OpenText Archive Center OpenText Content Server OpenText Directory Services OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Perform daily system health checks, monitoring, backup management, and issue resolution within OpenText environments.

·Configure and maintain integration connectors between SAP S/4HANA and OpenText systems.

·SAP Data Archival & ILM Configuration Design and implement SAP S/4HANA data archiving strategies using OpenText ArchiveLink and SAP ILM.

·Set up and manage ILM policies, retention rules, and legal holds for SAP object data.

·Collaborate with SAP functional teams to identify archivable objects and define retention requirements.

·Execute data archiving jobs, ensure transparent retrieval, and manage end-to-end ILM processes.

·Monitor archived data access and ensure adherence to regulatory, corporate, and audit requirements.

·Project Involvement Support implementations, migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives involving SAP and OpenText.

·Participate in architecture design, solution planning, and documentation of archival and data retention processes.

·Work closely with SAP BASIS, security, storage, and functional teams to ensure smooth integration and compliance.

·Assist in performance tuning and optimization of storage usage through intelligent data lifecycle design.

Qualifications & Required Skills

·Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in: Installing and configuring OpenText components (Content Server, Archive Center, Directory Services).

·SAP–OpenText integration via ArchiveLink.

·SAP ILM configuration and integration.

·Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and underlying data structures.

·Proficiency in archive object configuration, ILM store setup, and retention policy management.

·Experience in document and records management using OpenText platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP and OpenText integration issues.

·Familiarity with Linux/Windows OS, databases, and enterprise storage technologies. Preferred Qualifications OpenText certifications.

·Experience with cloud deployments (OpenText Cloud, SAP RISE).

·Knowledge of GDPR and data protection compliance.

·Exposure to SAP Solution Manager and job monitoring tools."
