Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Oil Trader with a strong risk discipline and a proven track record of generating consistent P&L across physical and derivative oil markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep market expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and scale profitable trading books.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute trading strategies across both prompt and deferred curves, covering supply & demand analysis, long and short dated relative value, flow and margin analysis and mean reversion strategies.
  2. Manage a cross-barrel derivatives portfolio focus on distillates, structured to deliver consistent risk-adjusted returns.
  3. Apply discretionary, fundamental and technical trading approaches to optimize portfolio performance
  4. Build and maintain strong strategic relationships across counterparties, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  5. Uphold robust risk management and governance standards
Job Requirements:
  1. Minimum 15 years of relevant trading experience in oil markets.
  2. Extensive exposure to European and Asian markets.
  3. Demonstrated success in building and managing profitable trading businesses.
  4. Strong expertise in both physical oil trading and derivatives.
  5. Bachelor's degree holder, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines preferred
