Job description
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network equipment across warehouse, logistics hubs, and corporate environments.
  • Monitor and support IT infrastructure critical to logistics and supply chain operations, including WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transport Management Systems), and ERP integrations.
  • Respond to technical support requests from operations teams (warehouse, transport, customer service) and ensure minimal downtime for logistics processes.
  • Provide end-user support via helpdesk systems, remote tools, or on-site intervention to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Create, manage, and audit user accounts and access rights in Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 in compliance with security policies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment, including mobile barcode scanners, label printers, and handheld terminals used in warehouse operations.
  • Test, roll out, and support new IT solutions and hardware for operational efficiency (e.g., RFID devices, rugged tablets, logistics tracking tools).
  • Provide IT onboarding for new recruits and guide junior IT staff in logistics environments.
  • Coordinate IT setups for new warehouse sites or system expansions, including cabling, network configuration, and device deployment.
  • Perform routine patch management, firmware upgrades, and preventive maintenance for mission-critical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on cybersecurity, data privacy, and asset management.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of IT incidents, problem resolutions, and system documentation for audits and process improvements.
  • Work closely with system vendors and logistics operations teams to support and troubleshoot 3PL/4PL systems integration.
  • Provide after-hours or on-call support during peak operations or system outages impacting the logistics chain.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of logistics systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle).
  • Familiarity with handheld/mobile devices and scanners commonly used in logistics and warehouse settings.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and endpoint issues in high-availability environments.
  • Proficient in helpdesk tools (e.g., ServiceDesk, Jira) and remote support platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Organized, responsive, and capable of working independently in fast-paced operational settings.
  • Willingness to travel locally between logistics sites and provide off-hours support when necessary.
