Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities
  • Floors: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish all types of floors to remove dirt and debris.
  • Surfaces: Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, desks, and other surfaces.
  • Sanitation: Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and ensure they are stocked with supplies like toilet paper and soap.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins, clean them as needed, and dispose of waste in designated areas according to regulations.
  • Deep Cleaning: Perform periodic deep cleaning, which may include tasks like shampooing carpets, washing windows, or cleaning appliances.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or damaged equipment, to a supervisor.
  • Safety: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleaning chemicals.
Skills and qualifications
  • Physical ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, and handle cleaning equipment.
