Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Networking Specialist. You will manage and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless networks while designing effective solutions. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in IT and 2–3 years of experience in networking, with CCNA or CCNP certifications preferred. Strong technical skills and a good understanding of security measures are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work independently and interface with clients in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Job Description:

• Configure, administer, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and remote access networks.
• Design cost-effective network solutions that meet standards and business requirements.
• Execute test plans for integration, performance, coverage, and capacity.
• Validate and support SDN infrastructure within the IT environment.
• Review technical documents, releases, upgrades, and fixes for network systems.
• Manage network operations, incidents, and troubleshooting with root cause analysis.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery processes, including testing and verification.
• Perform technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts for new network technologies.
• Implement automation workflows for recurring network issues.
• Plan and coordinate network security measures, ensuring compliance and incident resolution.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in IT networking (pre/post-sales preferred).
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Security product certifications are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and MPLS.
• Familiar with DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, firewalls, and SSL VPN.
• Understanding of network management and structured cabling.
• Ability to work independently and interface with customers and partners.
• Strong understanding of application, system, and network interdependencies.
