About the Role

We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Support Engineer with hands‑on experience in AWS cloud networking and enterprise network operations. You will be part of the client’s network infrastructure team, providing operations support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for core network and AWS environments while ensuring compliance with strict security and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support and maintenance for core network infrastructure and AWS networking components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalation incidents as needed to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform fault analysis, configuration updates, and performance tuning for both on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Maintain and update documentation, configuration records, and best practices to ensure operational consistency.
• Ensure all work adheres to required security policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with strong understanding of cloud networking, network infrastructure, and related systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, and TCP/IP networking.
• Certification such as CCNA will be an added advantage.
• AWS operational experience in a System Administrator or Cloud Engineer role.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator (Associate), or Solutions Architect (Associate).
• Advanced Networking (Specialty) certification will be a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for network and access issues.
• Prior experience in defence or government organisations requiring security clearance will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
