Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Network Operations & Maintenance specialist to ensure the high availability and reliability of LAN/WAN networks. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in IT and 3–4 years of relevant network operations experience, along with strong skills in Cisco networking technologies and a solid understanding of various networking protocols. Job description

Network Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure the high availability and reliability of LAN/WAN networks through continuous monitoring, performance analysis, and optimization.

• Manage and maintain network hardware and software inventory in accordance with internal standards.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for network-related incidents.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Deployment & Lifecycle Management

• Commission, decommission, and refresh network devices in alignment with technology lifecycle requirements and compliance guidelines.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to best-practice enhancements.

Project & Vendor Management

• Lead or support network infrastructure projects and upgrades.

• Work closely with vendors to evaluate solutions, manage deliverables, and ensure service quality.

Operational Support

• Provide on-call support for production and operational environments as part of a scheduled duty roster.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology

• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in network operations, administration, or management.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.

• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, and OSPF.

• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, core/distribution switches, routers, and LAN/WAN environments.

• Experience with Zscaler, Check Point, or Palo Alto firewalls will be an advantage.
