Job description

Position Summary
We are looking for a passionate and engaging technologist to be a critical part of our IT Enterprise organization. This individual will be onsite at our Singapore location and be the main point of contact and escalation for networks in our Singapore office and warehouse locations, as well as remote support for our remote users. The network engineer will be working directly with the IT Manager in Singapore, business teams and IT Leadership to transition and document IT infrastructure and security projects from engineering to production support.

Responsibilities

• Day to day escalation support for backend and cloud networks
• Prepare, maintain, and keep updated IT procedures and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations
• Collaborate with department personnel and design innovative solutions for all IT issues for all of the warehouse and corporate network technologies
• Ensure the company is adhering to information security best practices
• Maintain the hardware lifecycle and inventory management of all IT equipment and networks
• Sustain high-availability service levels and ensure fulfillment of business-wide service levels and operational support objectives.
• Lead individual contributor in IT infrastructure and security projects in designing and evaluating new technologies

Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in enterprise network and technology field
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of engineering, computer science or equivalent advance technology field of study
• Strong knowledge of and experience with design, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and operations of multiple enterprise IT network disciplines, such MPLS, SDWAN, networking, mobility, communication tools, and enterprise billing and collaboration systems.
• Strong working and practical knowledge of industry IT standards and regulations.
• Experience with change management lifecycle, development and regular preparation of management status and key metrics reports
• Ability to work with extremely technical staff working on very sensitive subject areas and with extremely sensitive information
• High level of personal integrity, with the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exudes the appropriate level of judgment and maturity
• Must be a strong communicator with exceptional verbal and written communication skills to translate the vision and strategy into clear priorities and direction, both internally and externally.
• Solid fundamental knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the following DNS/DHCP/VPN/802.1x/Radius/SSL/PKI , Firewall/Switches/Routers, Azure/AWS Cloud networking, SDWAN, VOIP, Wireless, LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP)
• Experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing the below technologies (SaaS/Cloud based IT operations systems is a plus) High availability networks, SDN, Load balancing, Network monitoring
• Our ideal candidate would also possess experience managing and supporting systems and servers is a plus - Windows/Linux servers and storage, Active Directory or Azure Active directory, Virtualization platform
