A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Distribution Center Coordinator to oversee operations at their logistics hub. You will manage the logistics subcontractor, ensure timely transport operations, and communicate effectively with service users. Candidates should have a solid background in supply chain and warehouse logistics, along with good communication skills. Experience with SAP is a plus. This role involves regular travel to subcontractors' facilities.
Within the SAFRAN Singapore facilities, we are looking for Distribution Center Coordinators, to supervise the subcontractor and represent SAFRAN's interests. The Distribution Center is a logistics hub within Singapore, dedicated to SAFRAN activities, with purpose of providing spare parts within the best lead time to several final users in the same Region. The team will be composed of two coordinators, reporting to a local SAFRAN Manager, belonging to the SAE MRO Global Supply Chain.
You will monitor physical and administrative flows linked to the export and import activities of the Distribution Center site within the defined scope (international flows) door-to-door.
You will be the interface between logistics subcontractor, final users, Safran services and carriers, and will be the operational focal point in the event of delays/disputes.
You will directly manage the logistics subcontractor (storage, reception and stocks situation of parts), and be the main contact for solutions deployment and improvement (ERP, TMS) at the different stages of the implementations, with the support of the Global Supply Chain based in France.
You will collect necessary information from MRO partners and propose updated stock mix recommendations
Monitoring of the logistics subcontractor: monitoring of activity, assistance in settling disputes, monitoring of KPIs through the TMS and other tools.
Incoming & outgoing flows: monitoring of physical flows (transport operations) and administrative flows (issues related to transport/customs/disputes)
Invoices: control and validation of invoices from the providers + budget monitoring
Relay/Guarantor of transport knowledge for clients/subcontractors (specific instructions/specific requests)
Regular report to the Global Supply Chain, for any operational questions related to flows & stocks
Preliminary training about SAFRAN standards will be provided at the beginning of the activities.
You will be a driving force for flow optimization actions.
The job implies weekly travels to the subcontractor location, based in Singapore.
Proven experience in Supply Chain, warehouse logistics and international transport
Knowledge of incoterms and customs procedures
Teamwork and proactive approach with other departments of the company
Good communication skills
Experience in SAP would be a plus
