Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual for a role focused on designing new tools, particularly for progressive, singulated, and prototype applications. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and have over 5 years of experience in Precision Plastic Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Unigraphics or Pro-E is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Report to Design Manager

  • Design new tool (for progressive, singulated & prototype tool)
  • Responsible for in-house mold design
  • Debugging, modify & improve for the production tool
  • Expedite quality design within reasonable lead time
Education and Experiences
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Unigraphics or Pro-E
  • Knowledge of Geometrical tolerances
  • >5 years experience in Precision Plastic Engineering
  • Candidates without Diploma but has vast experience on Precision Plastic Mold Design will be considered
  • Good communication & organizational skills
  • Meticulous and attentive to details
  • Salary Commensurate with relevant experience
