Job Description

The Mortgage Distribution Team Head will lead a team of Mortgage Specialists in achieving their individual and collective team goals by developing and implementing effective strategies. The incumbent will also be responsible to develop and executing plans to achieve home loan targets and other growth objectives, while also building long-term relationships with customers and corporate partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Mortgage Specialists to ensure they provide exceptional customer service and tailored financial solutions which is in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong alliances with Internal and External Partners to build a strong base of referrals
  • Coach and guide the Team to comb and maximize inbound and outbound lead conversion through quality client engagement and credit underwriting justification
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs and industry regulations and changes, to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate and engage with internal stakeholders such as Mortgage Product, Credit and etc to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards pertaining to Loan advisory and services.
Job requirements
  • Possess a university degree from a recognized institution with at least 8 years of experience in the consumer banking with a proven track record of leading and managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with clients as well as engage various stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including mortgages and home loans and in-depth understanding of relevant regulatory guidelines pertaining to mortgage loans.
  • Client-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service and building long-lasting relationships.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret market trends and insights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
