Job summary

A leading management services provider in Singapore is seeking an MEP Inspection Engineer to oversee system-wide inspections across cleanroom and facility areas. Responsibilities include conducting on-site inspections, coordinating regulatory compliance, and supporting quality control activities. Project Scope (MEP & Cleanroom Systems)

The role covers system-wide MEP inspection and acceptance across cleanroom and facility areas, including:

  • Fire Protection System

  • Air-conditioning, Mechanical & Ventilation Systems

  • Chilled Water System

  • Plumbing & Sanitary System

  • Underground M&E Systems

  • Lightning Protection & Earthing

  • Town Gas

  • Electrical Systems

  • Comment Support for All MEP Installations

Key Job Responsibilities
1. On-site Inspection & Testing
  • Conduct material inspections, installation checks, system testing, and commissioning witness for all MEP subcontractors.

2. Licensing & Regulatory Coordination
  • Coordinate and support on-site inspections required for RI, TOP, LEED, Green Mark and other mandatory licenses.

3. Quality Control
  • Support weekly quality inspections and daily QC activities.

  • Identify missing items, track rectification progress, and ensure closure.

4. System Acceptance
  • Assist in acceptance of water supply, drainage, air supply, and power supply systems.

  • Witness system tests and coordinate with relevant authorities for inspections.

5. Steel Structure Verification
  • Inspect and witness acceptance/testing of relevant steel structures:
    pipe racks, cooling tower frames, catwalks, ladders, stairs.

6. Reporting & Documentation
  • Provide recommendations for defect rectification.

  • Organize and archive all acceptance documentation.

  • Submit weekly RTO acceptance reports.
