Our MEP project managers work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver technically complex projects, including commercial buildings, data centers, healthcare, and infrastructure developments.

Role Summary

Currie & Brown is looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on high‑value construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience in managing complex MEP installations from design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP works on assigned projects.

Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.

Review and manage MEP design development, ensuring technical compliance and value engineering.

Monitor and manage project progress, quality, safety, and costs specific to MEP scope.

Coordinate MEP installation sequencing, commissioning schedules, and handover processes.

Chair MEP coordination meetings and lead resolution of technical and site‑related issues.

Ensure that MEP systems align with project specifications, local regulations, and sustainability standards.

Manage change orders, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance.

Support project reporting, risk management, and documentation control in line with Currie & Brown protocols.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

6–10 years of relevant experience in MEP project management, ideally within a consultancy or client‑side role.

Strong understanding of MEP systems in large‑scale building and infrastructure projects (e.g., data centers, healthcare, industrial, commercial).

Experience in managing MEP contractors and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Solid knowledge of local codes, international standards, and green building requirements.

Strong project planning, leadership, and communication skills.

Proficiency in project and coordination tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM).

Desirable

Chartered Engineer status or professional affiliation (e.g., CEng, PMP, RICS).

Experience working in fast‑track or mission‑critical environments.

Regional experience across Southeast Asia or international projects.
