Job description

You will provide optimum psychosocial and emotional care to the patients so that they can cope better with their medical and living conditions. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary professionals as you pursue holistic care for patients and should be skilled in individual and group therapy. You will be involved in talks and workshops, supervision of social work undergraduates, networking with government and community agencies, and training and research. There is also the opportunity to be involved in planning and development of social work services, and social work policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Medical Social Worker or 5 years’ experience in non-healthcare sector(s).
• Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Singapore Association of Social Workers is preferred.
• Candidates with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling will have an added advantage.
• Effective clinical skills in assessment, intervention, casework and counselling
• Excellent team player.
• Ability to work independently in running clinical services at polyclinics.
