Job description

We are looking for Medical Laboratory Technologist to carry out diagnostic genetic tests as well as routine duties to ensure smooth functioning of the laboratory.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Perform all genetic tests in accordance with laboratory protocols
• Receive and register lab specimens
• Receive and answer queries from customers
• Comply with good laboratory practice and lab safety requirements
• Assist with quality assurance programs, equipment maintenance, and general administration

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Relevant experience in diagnostic molecular biology will be an advantage
• Able to work independently, as well as a team
• Good communication skills (written & oral)
• Basic computer literacy
