Job summary

A leading staffing service provider in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on the development and design of modules in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supporting customization projects, investigating design changes, and creating 3D modules. Proficiency in CAD software is essential, alongside strong problem-solving skills. This position offers exposure to cross-disciplinary projects and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.
• Significant practical experience in mechanical engineering, assembly and testing.

Responsibilities

• Work on incremental development of existing modules to increase reliability.
• Investigate engineering change requests and implement design changes.
• Supports customization project requests from customer project managers.

Skills

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. ProEngineer/Creo)

Proven problem solving skills

Understanding of cost drivers within manufacturing

Good knowledge of mechanical parts evaluation

Education

BSc degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering

Tools

PDM/PLM software (PTC Windchill or Agile)
