Job summary

A leading M&E consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer/Project Engineer to design and manage building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least one year of relevant consultancy experience. Responsibilities include client engagement, engineering calculations, and technical documentation. A positive attitude and suitable experience in ACMV and hydraulic services is essential. This permanent position offers a salary of up to SGD 5500 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in consultancy for ACMV, fire and hydraulic services.
• Experience as a contractor in project execution will be considered.
• Experience in Energy Storage System (ESS) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and contractors.
• Carry out duties in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop technical documentation.

• Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer/Project Engineer (Building and Infrastructure)
• Working Location: East – Paya Lebar
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30 am - 6 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 5500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and contractors from other organizations
• Carry out duties in accordance with company procedures and implement prescribed systems of work
• Understand design philosophy/design fundamentals and communicate engineering solutions to project stakeholders
• Perform engineering calculations with the aid of engineering software such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Full Hydraulic Calculation (FHC)
• Familiar with Architect, Structural/Service Engineers drawings/specifications
• Carry out investigative and technical review worksResponsible for the development and production of drawings/calculations/specifications /reports
• Set an example for placement of students and junior engineers
