Job Summary

The incumbent is to develop, plan, implement and monitor various internal/external marketing communications and marketing activities to generate awareness and sales leads for the Institute, and execute marketing strategies and plans to maximise outreach and publicity for the Institute.

This will involve the delivery of key activities such as management and production of marketing collaterals, EDMs, website updates, exploring partnership opportunities, social media channels, media engagements, Public Relations activities, preparation of marketing budget, marketing plans and necessary communication materials (such as press releases, articles, speeches, reports, presentations slides and annual reports etc.).

The incumbent is expected to lead the Marketing team to manage and work closely with the appointed agencies/designers/partners to ensure all projects are delivered with high-quality and accuracy completed in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, execute and monitor online and offline marketing communication activities in support of the different business units.
  • Create and develop marketing materials to support marketing campaigns in leads generation.
  • Identify and coordinate with media owners, partners and vendors for advertising, editorial and brand building opportunities.
  • Liaise and provide timely updates to partners, clients and stakeholders on all marketing communication channels.
  • Identify, maintain, and upkeep the databases for membership and leads generation.
  • Manage and maximise the ROI of marketing budget through continuous monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/activities.
  • Oversee and ensure timely updates of information, video uploads onto MIS website and social media platform.
  • Create and monitor social media initiatives by capturing and analysing data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and continuously seek avenues for improvement.
  • Curate relevant content/information on social media platforms to enhance brand identity and engagement with customers in a timely manner.
  • Manage, develop, and monitor all corporate/marketing/media/publicity communication materials, channels, and relationships.
  • Drive Public Relations initiatives through initiative-taking engagement with media via Public Relations agencies or self-established network for press releases and press kits.
  • Drive and generate content, publication, and advertising revenue (through selling space) for “The Singapore Marketer”.
  • Develop and monitor project estimates to ensure revenues and expenses are kept within budget.
  • Manage the production of all promotional and marketing collaterals, including flyers, sponsorship deck and newsletters (print and digital).
  • Develop affiliate marketing, prospecting, and securing partnership collaborations as well as sponsorship sales.
  • Manage & oversee the audio or visual support for events and conferences.
  • Manage the database for audience development and content marketing.
  • Prepare and provide post-project analysis, testimonials, budget recaps and debriefing sessions as needed.
  • Prepare the annual Marketing Budget and Marketing Plans for Strategic Meeting.
  • Ensure and monitor all feedback in website and social media platforms and work with relevant department to address the feedback within three working days.
  • Coach and guide team members as needed and work together with other department for major events.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Degree In Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications with at least 2 years of related working experience. Diploma holder for at least 3 years of related working experience can be considered.
  • Proficiency in digital media, social media, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Photoshop.
  • Good working attitude, responsible and self-driven to meet the demands of the role.
  • Familiar with social media platforms, Google Analytics, and other online marketing/monitoring tools (especially Facebook and LinkedIn).
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and design in collateral productions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of new and emerging communications technology and well-versed in social media.
  • A strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, planning and project management skill and relate well at all levels.
  • Able to lead team and work independently without much supervision.
