Lead Financial Analyst Opportunity

Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Sales, Services & Technology (RISST) team has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Financial Analyst. This highly motivated individual will provide insights and support on large opportunities, profitable growth, and EAME commercial excellence. The role will collaborate closely with global commercial teams, pricing teams, and other functional areas across Resource Industries to drive informed business decisions.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as a business partner and trusted adviser supporting global Large Deal Analysis.
  • Drive decisions through insightful analysis of customer needs, market dynamics, and product profitability.
  • Provide business insights and support for the EAME Go-to-Market (Commercial) organization, including monthly results, pricing, sales variance, and margin analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards that clearly communicate performance trends, deal outcomes, and profitability drivers to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance by analyzing and critiquing information for conformance with US and local GAAP, corporate guidelines, and reasonability standards.
What You Have
  • Education/Experience: This position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related degree and 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
